What's a Mercury Marauder?
Don't be surprised if you've never heard of the Mercury Marauder before. This modern American muscle car was only produced during the 2003 and 2004 model years, and only a little over 11,000 total were built.
Based on the Ford Panther platform along with the Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis and Lincoln Towncar, the Marauder was designed with a more powerful engine, monochromatic exterior appearance and many performance suspension parts to make it the most aggressive of the group.
The Marauder is reminiscent of the 1994 - 1996 Chevy Impala SS, and both cars harken back to the glory days of Detroit muscle cars.
